About Library

Library is the soul of the institution. P.N. Das College Library established in 1962 has a collection of about 15500 plus books. The library consist of property counter, circulation section, periodical section, exhibition section, students reading room, teachers reading room and stack room. The central library supports teaching learning and research across a wide range of all conceivable disciplines with its resources. The library is completely automated and N-LIST subscription allows the users to access 6000+ e-journals and 1,99,500+ e-books. In addition the college subscribe by different journals and magazine. Use of Koha cloud software enables the users to browse the library catalogue. The library has separate browsing section for students. Facilities of reference books and free access of internet from library e-access zone is very helpful to the users. Ex-student of our college and other college & university students get library facilities through proper channel. The library also uploads UG question papers on the library portal. Regular Library Orientation Programme are organised in every session. Best Library User is awarded after every academic session.
