Library Services:The library offers a wide range of services from to electronic information services ensuring appropriate services to the academic community. The library provides the following basic services:- • Lending facilities on a regular basis. • Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) : Author based, Subject based, Title based, Publisher based searching and other advanced aided search facilities of OPAC are available. • N-LIST online facilities: Access to e-books and e-journals through INFLIBNET N-LIST consortium help the users to find their required information easily. • Reference service. • Reading room service. • Reprography service and computer printout service. • Selective Dissemination of Information (SDI) service. • Internet services. • Career Guidance service. Library Facilities: • Library is fully automated • There are 04 computers for users in the library with internet facility. • Periodicals are kept in journal display rack. • The Central Library has a vast collection of subject specific and general books. • Printer and Scanner facilities are available. • Wi-Fi facilities are also available. • Reprographic facility is provided for students and staff through digital photocopy machine. • Library Entry Register for both students and faculty is maintained regularly. • Register for Requisition of books from students is also introduced. • Library has a Suggestion Box so as to implement and improve on these suggestions. • The Library also has a digital photocopy and scanning machine to provide printing services directly from the desktops and through the use of pen drives. • The library maintains a Notice Register which showcases notices related specifically to the library. • Reference books on all subjects, magazines, books for competitive examinations, atlas, albums, Encyclopedia Britannica, Britannica Yearbook are available. • Information Deployment and Notification: New arrivals are displayed; Information and Notifications are also put up on the Library Notice Book. • Newspapers are displayed on a separate rack. • To facilitate the mobility of differently-able students, a ramp has been installed. A wheel-chair is also to be procured. |
